The domestic league season may have finished in Scotland last weekend but all eyes will be on the SSE Scottish Women's Cup Final this Sunday. Glasgow City will be looking to build on their recent successes of winning a thirteenth consecutive SBS Scottish Women's Premier League title and reaching the UEFA Women's Champions League quarter finals for the second time in their history by landing the Cup and completing a domestic double. In their way will be Hibernian, the reigning Cup holders who have dominated the competition in recent seasons and will be looking to win the trophy for the fourth year in a row. Such has been the domination of the two clubs in Scotland, they have won the Cup between themselves in each of the last SIXTEEN years, with eight victories apiece. They first clashed in the Final in 2007, Hibs winning 5-1 on that occasion, and have met in the Final six times with three wins each. The last club apart from Glasgow City or Hibernian to win the Scottish Women's Cup was FC Kilmarnock back in 2002. The Final will be played at Tynecastle Park, home of Hearts FC, and kicks off at 4.10pm. Tickets for the game are priced at £7 for adults, £3 for concessions, and Under-12s go free. Tickets are available online at www.eticketing.co.uk/heartofmidlothian or can be purchased on the day at the ticket office. If you are unable to make it to Tynecastle Park, the match will be broadcast live via BBC Alba.
