The top of the table clash in SWPL 2 ended with honours even and the points being shared as Hamilton Academical and Hearts finished level at 2-2.
The Accies led at the interval through a goal from Marie Gardiner, with Danni McGinley equalising for Hearts two minutes after the restart. Nichola Sturrock restored Hamilton's lead just ahead of the hour mark, before Madelaine Edwards earned Hearts a point when she levelled matters ten minutes later.
Glasgow Girls replace Partick Thistle in third place after winning their meeting 2-0. Lauren Kerr bagged a first half brace to condemn Thistle to only their third defeat of the season.
FC Kilmarnock meanwhile stepped up their challenge for a top three place with a 7-2 victory away to Hutchison Vale. The home side did triple their output of goals for the season through Lisa Wilson and Angyl Learmonth, and taking the lead early on, but Laura Neil equalised four minutes later and Killie led at the break after a Clare Docherty double and Dana Baird goal. Lisa Swanson went on to score twice during the second half and Kim Murphy also got on the scoresheet.
St Johnstone face an uphill task to climb out of the bottom two places after they were narrowly beaten 3-2 by Dundee Utd, increasing the gap between the two teams to twelve points. Tammy-Lee Harkin gave United a second minute lead and Laurie Ross made it two on the hour, before Rachel Todd netted twice in an eight minute spell to bring St Johnstone back on level terms. However three minutes later, Harkin completed her double to give her side an important victory.
