Blackburn Rovers are confirmed as Northern Division One Champions following their 2-2 draw with Sheffield Utd on Sunday. Rovers went into the game needing to avoid defeat and a goal in each half from Ria Montgomery proved to be enough for them, whilst the Blades replied through Beth Ibbotson and Eve Marshall. Newcastle Utd are on course to finish third after Alicia Mutrie, Emily Tait and Anna Soulsby gave them a 3-0 victory over Durham Women. Huddersfield Town meanwhile won 3-2 away to Hull City, thanks to a goal apiece from Emily Cahill, Tara Duce and Macy Ellis.
The title race is still alive in Northern Division Two following Guiseley Vixens' 3-0 victory against Leeds Utd. Any other result would have put leaders Chorley out of reach but it was Guiseley who took the points.
Stoke City have also put things beyond doubt in the Midland Division, clinching the title by winning 7-1 at Burton Albion. Jodie Foxhall and Kerri Brown each scored twice along with Faye Singleton, Nuala Miszkiel and Megan Kolbuck. Derby County meanwhile defeated Leicester City 2-0 and are looking set for second place, Naomi Lawrence and Pilar Isanta Parcerisa were their markswomen. Tiana Hicks, Joanna Butler-Williams, Paige Gunn and Nicola Russell were on the scoresheet as Loughborough Foxes triumphed 4-0 away to Crewe Alexandra and Coventry Utd won 8-0 against Long Eaton Utd, Sophie Roberts scoring twice along with Chloe Robson, Lauren Mellor, Ellie White, Yasmine Klucis, Paige Ridley and Amber Downs.
In the South/South East Division, Gillingham need one more point to be sure of finishing in the top three after they won 3-1 away to Norwich City. Niamh Jestin (2) and Gemma Cumby scored their goals, with Megan Todd replying.
Two more points will do for Crystal Palace in the South/South West Division, after they scored eight times without reply past Denham Utd. Nicole Pepper hit a hat-trick and Mia Lockett a double, along with one apiece from Jade Davenport, Beau Parker and Lily Steven. Chichester City will finish in the top three following their 3-0 success against Queen's Park Rangers, courtesy of Natasha Wild (2) and Gemma White.
