Gillingham ended the winning run of West Bromwich Albion with a 1-0 victory in the FAWNL League Plate, which sees them reach their first national Final.
The only goal of the game came early in the second half, scored by Chloe Fowler, and the Gills held on to record their third straight clean sheet in the competition.
Gillingham's opponents in the Final will be Milton Keynes Dons who, following a penalty shootout victory in the quarter finals seven days earlier, this time won 4-3 after extra time against Liverpool Feds. Substitute Kim Farrow was the heroine for the Dons as she scored twice during the extra period to add to earlier goals from Leanna Doyle and Kerry Newman, whilst the Feds' cup run came to an end despite Demi Devereaux netting twice and Jodie Mortimer adding the other.
