Blackburn Rovers picked up the pace once again on their return to action in Northern Division One, scoring nine times without reply past Huddersfield Town. Ria Montgomery, Eve Kennerley and Sarah Agger all netted twice for Rovers along with Carra Jones, Hannah Walsh and Emily Walton. Sheffield Utd remain two points behind in second place after Courteney Csomor, Amy Barringham-Beck and Eve Marshall gave them a 3-2 win away to Newcastle Utd. Middlesbrough meanwhile defeated Hull City 5-1 to catch up ground on the mid-table positions.
In Northern Division Two, Chorley had a chance to go level on points with leaders Guiseley Vixens and once again, they did so with a 4-2 success at Leeds Utd courtesy of Kadie Morrison, Natasha Webster, Holly Styles and an own goal. Betty Cheetham, Alayna Millard, Eden Schofield and Lauryn Wilcock were all on the scoresheet as Barnsley won for the second time, 4-1 against Burnley FC Women.
Things remain tight at the top of the Midland Division with Leicester City keeping hold of their one point lead after beating West Bromwich Albion 2-1. Gabriella Foulkes and Annie Taylor scored the goals for Leicester, with Stoke City remaining hard on their heels, Kerri Brown and Jodie Foxhall giving them a 2-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra. Stoke still possess a game in hand on Leicester but the two teams still have to meet twice before the end of the season. Derby County are back in third place but are eight points adrift of the top two following their 3-3 draw with Loughborough Foxes. Danielle Oxley, Pilar Isanta Parcerisa and Millie Drinkhall were on target for Derby, whilst Loughborough responded through Nicola Russell, Indiana Totty and Paige Gunn. Sophie Roberts, Amelia Shiner, Lauren Garner, Marie McGuire, Paige Ridley and an own goal ensured that Coventry Utd defeated Nottingham Forest 6-0 and Sporting Khalsa ran out 6-1 winners away to Long Eaton Utd, Brittany Civil was on target four times along with Angelique Morley and Rebecca Knight.
Charlton Athletic bounced back from their defeat seven days previously to win 7-0 against Norwich City and move back to the top of the South/South East Division. Georgia Griffin and Olivia Hembrough each netted twice along with Chloe Brunton-Wilde, Ellie Dorey and Elizabeth O'Callaghan. Eva Carvalho, Chloe Wilkinson and Jasmine Blackhurst scored the goals as Millwall Lionesses beat Cambridge Utd 3-1 to hold on to third place, just ahead of Gillingham who were 3-2 winners over Milton Keynes Dons thanks to Lotti Klatt, Beth Nugent and Sophie Chapman.
With the top of the table clash in the South/South West Division falling victim to the weather, AFC Wimbledon took advantage by beating Denham Utd 8-0 and moving into second place. Megan Smith hit a hat-trick, Sophie Manzi contributed a double and there was one apiece from Jennie Brereton, Justine Buckmire and Abbie Morris to take Wimbledon above Chichester City and level on points with leaders Crystal Palace. Lewes meanwhile kept up their good run with a 4-3 success away to Southampton Women, courtesy of a goal apiece from Skye Bacon, Ella Newman, Danielle Lane and Moona Shioui.
