Crawley Wasps have had a fantastic start to life in the FA National Women's League - and now they are aiming to make club history when they take on Chichester City in the SSE Women's FA Cup Second Round on Sunday.
Crawley have won every match they have played this season to top the Division One South East Table and have never got as far as the Third Round before, and captain Naomi Cole (pictured) is relishing the opportunity of taking on the Southern Premier Division high fliers.
"We could have drawn anyone but to get a local side like Chichester, who are also doing well in their league, it's an exciting game," she said. "The girls have got confidence in our way of playing whoever we're up against. We've got nothing to lose.
"Chichester have got a great fanbase and the whole set-up at Wasps is thriving so we want to start enticing more people to come and watch us."
Wasps manager Paul Walker is expecting a close game between two teams havimg good seasons to date.
"Our form is reflected in our league position, Chi equally in their league too," he said. "So you've got two in-form sides with a lot of quality in both teams.
"For the club, the second round of the FA Cup is exciting. I'm hoping we're going to get a really good crowd there.
"Chichester are a very well supported club so we expect them to bring a good contingent to the game and it should be a great occasion."
