Coventry Utd returned to the top of the Southern Premier Division with a stunning 9-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle.

Helen Bleazard pulled one back for Plymouth but McDonnell netted her second straight away and Amy Wathan increased their lead on the hour. McDonnell went on to complete her hat-trick before Lois Jefferies and Chenise Austin both scored in the last ten minutes.
Loughborough Foxes' run of four straight victories was checked as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Gillingham. Loughborough led at half time through a goal from Chloe Young and Charlotte Broad netted their second during the second half, but strikes from Samantha Booker and Breon Grant earned the Gills a share of the spoils.
Cardiff City Ladies got back to winning ways with a 2-1 success against Portsmouth. Nia Rees and Jasmine Simpson were on target for the South Wales side, whilst Pompey replied through Danielle Rowe.
Milton Keynes Dons returned from C & K Basildon with a 2-1 win under their belts, a result which takes them amongst the mid-table teams. Charley Clarke headed the Dons in front during the first half, with Holly Turner bringing C & K back on level terms on the stroke of half time. Clarke settled matters in MK's favour after the break when she scored a second headed goal for her team's fourth win of the season.
