Good week for Ipswich
 Women's Football WNL Division 1 South East News - 11 Oct 2018
Ipswich Town have had a good week with two successive wins, the second of which, a 4-0 victory against Denham Utd, has seen them leap into third place in South East Division One.
Natasha Thomas netted two of the goals for Ipswich and she was joined on the scoresheet by Lindsey Cooper and Zoe Cossey.
Leyton Orient moved up to fourth, level on points with Ipswich, after they defeated Actonians Ladies 3-2 following a late fightback. Hayley Barton gave the O's a first half lead which was cancelled out before the break by Carla Williams, with Jennifer Laidlaw then putting Actonians in front five minutes after the restart. Actonians looked to be heading on their way towards another victory but Barton then netted her second with five minutes remaining and Tara O'Halloran netted the winner in injury time.
