Motherwell keeping going
 Women's Football Scottish WPL2 News - 13 Sep 2018
Newly crowned SWPL 2 Champions Motherwell are showing no signs of slowing up with a 9-0 victory over Central Girls Academy.
In their first match under the charge of new Head Coach Donald Jennow, Samantha Hare was on target four times and Suzanne Mulvey netted a hat-trick, with Hayley Cunningham and Megan Burns also getting on the scoresheet.
Lisa Swanson and Abby Robinson bagged two goals apiece as FC Kilmarnock held on to second place with a 4-0 victory over Aberdeen.
The next two teams in the table met each other and it was Hearts who were 2-0 winners away to St Johnstone. Ashley Carse and Pamela Liddell scored the goals to open up a gap of three points between the teams, with Hearts staying three points behind second placed Kilmarnock.
Edinburgh University Hutchison Vale and Glasgow Girls each picked up a valuable point as they shared a 3-3 draw. EUHV did lead 3-1 at the break thanks to Beth MacLeod, Katherine Smart and Anna Hume before Glasgow Girls, who had already scored through Lauren Coleman, hit back for a share of the spoils with strikes from Lauren Evans abd Jayne Cameron.
