Chichester City have become the early pacesetters in the Southern Premier Division following their 1-0 success away to Milton Keynes Dons.
The Sussex side took over the leadership and have the division's sole remaining 100% record after a late goal from Molly Clark settled matters in their favour.
Loughborough Foxes had started the day at the top but are back in second after being held to a 1-1 draw by C & K Basildon, who picked up their first point in the process. Both goals came during the first half, Kate Lowder netting for the Foxes whilst Madelyn Thomas was on target for C & K.
Coventry Utd join Loughborough Foxes on seven points as they won 2-1 away to previously unbeaten Portsmouth. Helen Dermody's early strike for Coventry was quickly cancelled out by Rachel Panting and midway through the first half, Jade Brook scored what turned out to be the winning goal.
Cardiff City Ladies moved into the top half of the table by running out 5-1 winners over Queen's Park Rangers. Kylie Nolan and Cori Williams each netted twice along with Alice Griffiths, whilst Rangers' consolation came from Chontele Lawrence.
Watford came from a goal behind at the break to win 2-1 at Oxford Utd. The home side led at the break through a goal from Georgia Timms but Watford were back on terms early in the second half thanks to Katie O'Leary and with three minutes remaining, Helen Ward scored the winner.
Plymouth Argyle made sure that their long journey home from Gillingham was a happy one with a 4-1 victory. Zoe Cunningham, Helen Bleazard, Mollie Taylor and Katie Middleton were all on target for Argyle, whilst Maddison Chamney-Farrand replied for the Gills.
