Hereford Lads Club v Kidderminster Harriers
 Women's Football FA Women's Cup News - 8 Sep 2018
SSE Women's FA Cup - Road to the Final
Kidderminster Harriers progressed into the First Round Qualifying after winning their delayed tie against AFC Telford Utd. Amber Lawrence and Amie Savva scored the goals to give Kidderminster a 2-0 victory and they must play away to Hereford Lads Club, who have entered the competition at this stage.
Hereford Lads Club is a registered charity, founded in 1925 and based in the City of Hereford, England. Hereford Lads Club offers boys and girls football coaching and development from Under-6 through to adults.
They field men's teams in Herefordshire and West Midlands Football Leagues and a ladies team in the Midwest Counties Female League. Youth teams play in the Herefordshire Junior and Herefordshire Girls leagues and all teams play their home matches at Widemarsh Common in Hereford.
Although Lads Club have had a ladies team in the past, the current team was reformed in 2013. Half of the current squad have played for lads club for many years, which is rewarding to see players coming up through the age groups and still enjoying football.
The ladies team has been a very successful one in recent seasons, winning the league title on three out of the last four years - winning all 20 league games in 2014-15 - and finishing as runners-up on the other occasion. They won the league again last season and were only beaten once during the whole campaign.
The team is jointly managed by Clive Powis and Marcus Jenkins, who also take care of coaching and administration respectively whilst Caroline Powis is in charge of Team communications. Emily Morgan is captain and last season's leading scorer was Elle Williams with 14 goals to her name, she was one of four players to get into double figures.
This promises to be a very good match and takes place at the County Ground, Hereford (2pm).
