Poland's Paulina Tomasiak scored in injury time to deny England an opening day win at the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship Finals in Lithuania.
Paulina Filipczak put Poland in front eight minutes into the second half, but Jess Park levelled just before the hour mark with a wonderful effort from range.
Park then turned provider, setting up Paris McKenzie to nudge the Young Lionesses ahead for the first time, however Tomasiak had the last say in the second minute of added time and John Griffiths' side had to settle for a share of the spoils.
England's second group match is against Spain on Saturday 12th May in Alytus (kick off time 11am BST). Spain battled out a goalless draw with Italy in the other Group B match on the opening day, leaving all four teams on one point.
England: Kayla Rendell, Phoebe Williams, Emma Brown, Abbie Roberts, Asmita Ale, Paris McKenzie, Hannah Griffin, Jess Park, Libby Smith (sub Ebony Salmon 62mins), Jess Woolley, Simran Jhamat. Subs not used: Fran Stenson, Lucy Roberts, Lia Cataldo, Katie Bradley, Paige Bailey-Gayle, Annabel Blanchard.
