Newcastle Utd look as though they will finish in third place in the Northern Division, following their 1-0 victory over Bradford City. Imogen Longcake scored the only goal for Newcastle who can still go level on points with second placed Middlesbrough, however they have a vastly inferior goal difference.
Stoke City remain on course in the Midland Division and need to win two of their final five games in order to finish on top. They moved themselves closer thanks to a 5-3 win away to Derby County, in which Emily Curteis netted twice along with Courtney Ward, Roisin Kivel and Faye Singleton. Danielle Oxley was on target twice for Derby, with Kira Rai adding the other. Mai Moncaster (2), Gracie-Mai Williams (2), Shannon Henson, Imogen Hunt and an own goal ensured that Leicester City Women defeated TNS Ladies 7-1 and Coventry Utd scored eight times without reply past Nottingham Forest, Jade Mellor and Katie Cornish each netted twice while Lauren Garner, Marie McGuire, Amber Downs and Lauren Mellor were also on the scoresheet.
Portsmouth played host to C & K Basildon in the Southern Division with the title as the reward for the winning team and it was C & K who triumphed 5-1. Katie Whitehead scored twice along with Eliza Diaz, Sophie Rhodes and Mollie de Bell to ensure that C & K would win the league, whilst Pompey grabbed a consolation through Rebecca Bell. A strong West Ham Utd side meanwhile ran riot against Denham Utd, Whitney Locke netting six times along with four-goal hauls from Chloe Burr and Ellie Zoepfl. Stephaney Bent, Dayna Chong, Molly Clark, Esme Lancaster, Leanne Mabey and Chenise Austin added the other goals for the Hammers.
Sheffield FC completed their campaign in the FA WSL Development League Northern Division with a 3-1 victory away to Sunderland which leaves them in third place. Ella Hartley, Kenedy Owen and Molly Havard were Sheffield's markswomen, with Sunderland's consolation coming from Katie Barker.
Nicole Doulas netted both goals as Chelsea were the winners of the Southern Division top of the table clash with Arsenal, their 2-1 success inflicting a first league defeat of the season on the Gunners and opening up a five point lead, having played two games more. In the other games, goals from Connie Forman (2), Alisha Brayer and Casey Chapman gave London Bees a 4-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion and Oxford Utd were 4-1 winners away to Bristol City. Chloe Chivers netted twice along with Emily Allen and Sophie Baker for Oxford, whilst the Vixens' consolation came from Rhianne Oakley.
