It remains neck and neck at the top of SWPL 1 after the top two recorded similar victories on Sunday.
Glasgow City hold on to the leadership after winning 3-0 away to third placed Celtic. Leanne Ross gave City the lead midway through the first half and the former Scotland international netted a second from the penalty spot, shortly after half time. Hayley Lauder headed in the third to seal an impressive result which keeps the reigning Champions ahead on goal difference.
Hibernian meanwhile also recorded a 3-0 victory against Stirling University to stay level on points with the leaders. Shannon McGregor and Rachel McLauchlan put Hibs two ahead during the first half and Lizzie Arnot wrapped up the win with the third goal when scoring a penalty.
Forfar Farmington moved up to fifth place with a 4-2 success away to Rangers, who are one position above them. Robyn Smith and Hannah Stewart gave Forfar a two-goal lead at the break and they added further goals through Caroline Heron and Cassie Cowper to crown a fine result, before Jade Gallon and Brogan Hay grabbed late goals for Rangers.
It was a good day for Hamilton Academical as they registered their first goals and points when beating Spartans 2-0. Both goals came shortly before half time, Lori Gardner giving the Accies the lead and Jade Lindsay adding the second.
