Cardiff Met Ladies maintained their lead of eleven points at the top of the Orchard Welsh Premier Women's League with a 2-0 victory over Port Talbot Town on Sunday.
The Archers took the lead in the sixth minute when Kitty Wells converted a cross from Sophie Scherschel and Naomi Clipson put the seal on their eleventh straight win when she scored the second, early in the second half.
Swansea City continue to head the chasing teams after scoring six times without reply away to Caldicot Town. Emma Beynon put the Swans in front early on and Katy Hosford netted a quickfire double to ensure they were three goals ahead at half time. Stacey John-Davies added the fourth early in the second half and after Ellie Lake had extended their lead via a long range strike, Jodie Passmore rounded off the scoring with the final goal late on.
Cyncoed Ladies climbed into the top three, their highest position of the season to date, by beating Caernarfon Town 7-0. Robyn Pinder marked her debut for the Mighty Oaks by scoring a hat-trick, Kirstie Pervin-Davies weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Kerry Moore and Rosina Hill.
The other two scheduled matches in the league both fell victim to the weather.
