Hullbridge Sports FC's Lower Road ground will play host to the title decider in this season's Eastern Region League Premier Division between Brentwood Town and Bedford Ladies this Sunday, with Town manager Ian Bent eager to welcome as many supporters as possible to the May 1st clash.
The Blues set up a winner-takes-all fixture against their opponents after winning 2-1 at Bedford on Sunday, with Sophie Lovell's injury time penalty kick leaving the two clubs level on 47 points at the top of the Premier Division table.
Town's achievements are remarkable, having only earned promotion to the Premier Division at the end of the 2009-10 season, but the squad now have the ultimate prize in their sights after claiming seven wins in their last eight League fixtures, including six in succession and five in the past three weeks.
"The players have done themselves proud this season and to take it to the last game of 2010-11 is a great effort," declared Bent, whose team need to collect all three points to win promotion to the South East Women's Combination.
"We've now got one last effort to give and I'm calling on everyone and anyone to get down to the game to get behind the girls and support the team; they certainly deserve it and it would be fantastic to see lots of supporters at Hullbridge Sports FC this Sunday.
Kick off at Hullbridge is at 2pm and admission is free.
