Amie Lea clutched the matchball following her debut hat-trick for Wales in the 5-1 win over Luxembourg and admitted that her achievement had not yet sunk in.
The Cardiff City player became the first Welsh international to score three times on her senior debut and she told Women's Soccer Scene afterwards: "I think it's the only time I've ever done it so it was really good.
"I didn't think I was going to get there [for the first goal] but I kept going and it paid off. The second goal settled the nerves and we were alright from then on."
The goal which clinched the hat-trick was a stunning 20-yard volley. "I didn't think it had gone in," said Amie, "but when I knew it had, I was very, very happy."
Kerrie Manley wore the captain's armband for the first time and she admitted: "I was very proud to be made captain. It was a good game and a great performance by the youngsters - for an inexperienced side we did really well."
