Holland 6 Scotland 2
Scotland fell to their heaviest defeat in two years in Volendam on Sunday afternoon.
Anna Signeul's side went into the first of two April friendlies without regular starters such as central defender Rachel Corsie and midfielder Jo Love.
Kirsten van de Ven put the hosts ahead within four minutes and with just over a quarter of an hour gone Scotland were three behind after a Sylvia Smith double.
Suzanne Lappin nodded home on 27 minutes for her first Scotland goal, but Sherida Pointed increased the Netherlands' lead again on the stroke of half time.
Annemieke Kiesel-Griffin made it five within seven minutes of the restart, but Leanne Ross pulled another one back for Scotland just three minutes later.
Pointed grabbed her second and the Netherlands sixth on 60 minutes.
Scotland take on USA in a closed-door friendly on Wednesday.
Scotland: Gemma Fay, Rhonda Jones, Ifeoma Dieke, Leanne Ross, Suzanne Lappin, Kim Little, Megan Sneddon, Jane Ross, Emma Fernon, Frankie Brown, Hayley Lauder.
