A late Lisa Evans strike earned Scotland a 3-3 draw with hosts Austria in their first match of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship second qualifying round.
Shelley Kerr's side fought back from two down in a thrilling encounter at the ADA Stadion in Anger.
Scotland were rocked by two early goals, Auschauer opened the scoring with just three minutes gone and Puntigam doubled the lead just seven minutes later with a 25-yard strike.
Scotland hit back immediately. Evans raced down the right wing and crossed for Nicola Docherty who knocked the ball in at the near post.
With almost half an hour gone 'keeper Nicolle Andrews pulled off a double save to deny Manhart. Lisa Robertson had a chance to draw Scotland level, but her powerful long-range shot just skimmed the bar.
Lauren McMurchie suffered a jaw injury as the half drew to a close, but recovered to hit a superb volley just off target.
Scorer Docherty limped off with an hour gone, to be replaced by Chloe Craig. Scotland continued to press for the equaliser, but it was Austria who scored next, with Makas hitting a long range shot into the top corner.
Again, Scotland fought back right away. Substitute Lucy Clark made a well timed run to meet an Evans corner on the volley and haul her side back into the match.
With the last seconds of added time ticking down, Evans raced into the penalty area and scored from a tight angle to earn Scotland a well deserved point.
