Wales have named their Under-19 squad for their UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship second qualifying round group, which they host this week.
Wales qualified for this phase, which will be taking part in Carmartenshire, by taking second place in their group in Slovenia in September and in this round they play host to Iceland, Turkey and three times Champions Germany, as the teams bid to win the group and secure a place in this summer's Finals in Italy.
The tournament kicks off with a double header at Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli on Thursday 31st March, with Wales playing Germany (7pm) after Iceland have taken on Turkey, followed by matches at Stebonheath Park, Llanelli and Richmond Park, Carmarthen on 2nd and 5th April. Entrance to all matches is free of charge.
Wales last week played two friendly matches in Belgium in preparation for the tournament, winning one and losing one, and manager Jarmo Matikainen and the team will be hoping for success in a difficult stage of the competition.
