Glasgow City began their defence of the Scottish Women's Premier League title by running out 8-0 winners over Inverness City.
Seven different players got on the scoresheet for City, Jane Ross netting twice with one apiece from Leanne Ross, Emma Mitchell, Christie Murray, Lauren McMurchie, Emma Fernon and Lisa Evans.
Spartans are the opening day leaders after recording the biggest victory, scoring nine without reply past FC Kilmarnock.
Diana Barry, Louise Mason, Louise Young and Kirsty McLaughlin all bagged braces for the Edinburgh side whose tally was completed by Hayley Lauder.
Hibernian opened the season well, with a 4-0 victory over Hamilton Academicals. Leanne Crichton, Hayley Cunningham, Laura Kennedy and Rebecca Dempster were all on target for Hibs.
Hutchison Vale's first match back in the SWPL ended in a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Forfar Farmington. Julia Scott and Emma McCully netted for Forfar, with Vale replying through Jen Malone.
Rangers were 8-0 winners over Falkirk in their delayed Scottish Women's Premier League Cup First Round tie. Clare Docherty scored twice along with Lana Clelland, Nicola Docherty, Jennifer Callaghan and Lucy Clark to earn Rangers a home tie with either Inverness or Hamilton in the last eight.
