The Priory School is pleased to announce it is now the hub site for Charlton Athletic Community Trust Post 16 Girls Football Academy.
This exciting new partnership will give students a pathway to the Charlton Athletic senior teams and the Charlton Athletic Community Coaching scheme enabling budding young footballers to train, play and coach at a high level whilst gaining vital academic and vocational qualifications during curriculum time.
With an unquestionable reputation for producing home grown players, the aim is to target the most talented youngsters in the South of England and give them the opportunity to be part of this fantastic new programme.
The Partnership aims to give our students the best opportunity to excel within the classroom, as well as on the football pitch. The Priory School offers a unique Academy package of BTEC courses at Level 2 and 3 as well as other qualifications in sports and fitness activities. Students will receive two afternoons of football coaching sessions with Charlton Athletic Community Trust UEFA A or B licence coaches as well as playing in English College FA League & English School FA National Cup and other local competitions. We offer students the chance to take their FA Level 1 and FA Level 2 coaching courses & the opportunity to work in our celebrated Community Trust as coaches.
Trials will take place on Saturday 2nd April from 1pm to 4pm at The Priory School.
