West Ham Utd stay six points clear at the top of the Southern Division after their clash with Keynsham Town ended in a goalless draw.
The evenly contested match (see report) also sees Keynsham move back into second place due to Portsmouth crashing 5-0 at home to Colchester Utd, who are one point further adrift in fourth. Helen Bass gave the U's a tenth minute lead, before Maegen Doyle and Bass both struck in the period before half time. After the break, Hannah Porter added a fourth and Bass completed her hat-trick with the final goal, three minutes from time.
Charlton Athletic registered their best result of the season so far, a 4-0 success away to Yeovil Town. All of the goals came in the first half, Gemma Bryan's early strike being added to by Stef Simmons and Charley Clifford, before Bryan notched her second goal before the interval.
It was a good day for Queen's Park Rangers as they notched up their first points of the season when beating Gillingham 2-0. Sandra Scalzi gave Rangers the lead just before half time with their first league goal of the season and Beth Curtis wrapped up the points with the second, ten minutes from the end.
