Keynsham Town have completed the signing of two quality players this week.
The first player, Danielle Collins, joins having previously played for William and Mary College in Virginia, USA and also for Philadelphia Independence. Collins was a member of the United States Under-21 pool of players in 2007 and can play both at centre back and in midfield. At 6ft tall, Collins has a reputation as a physical player who is especially powerful in the air.
Keynsham's second signing is Jade Radburn who has extensive Premier League experience with Leicester City, Blackburn Rovers and OOH Lincoln. Radburn has represented English Universities and the British Universities team in the 2009 World Universities Games in Belgrade. A tall and accomplished player, Radburn has great versatility having filled defensive, midfield and forward positions in her career.
Keynsham manager Barrie Newton was delighted with the two captures and said: "Both Dani and Jade will add to the quality in our squad and give us new dimensions in several departments. Both players are very fit, but just a little short of match practice. Nevertheless, both will be in our first team squad for this Sunday's home fixture against West Ham.
"We have one or two players sidelined at present with injury and unavailablity, so these signings are coming at the right moment to strengthen our playing staff."
