Gateshead Cleveland Hall emerged as 5-2 winners from their local derby with Rutherford Ravens and they will be on their travels once again in the Second Round Qualifying, to Teesside Sport.
Becky Clark scored the only goal of the game as Forest Hall YPC were narrow 1-0 victors away to Seaton Carew JFC to book themselves a trip to Percy Main.
California Ladies defeated Ashington 2-1 thanks to goals from Ashley Suggitt and Jess Hart and they are now away to Durham City. Norton & Stockton Ancients meanwhile edged out Birtley Town 2-1, Olivia Inman netting a last minute winner to add to Dawn Close's earlier strike. Norton's next opponents will Tynedale whose match with St Francis 2000 turned out to be even closer, Tynedale triumphing on penalties after the teams had battled out a 2-2 draw. Stephanie Ord scored both goals for Tynedale and also found the net in the shootout along with Brooke Cochrane, Joanne Dixon, Ashley Lambert and Helen Gibson.
Chester City progressed with a 3-1 victory away to Accrington Ladies & Girls to set up an interesting tie with Crewe Alexandra in the next round. Sharon Turner led the scoring with a four-goal haul as Middleton Athletic scored nine without reply against Crown Newlaithes, they must now travel to Dalton Girls & Ladies. Jordon Gagon and Sam Booth both added doubles along with an own goal.
Dawn Cripps, Sarah Smith and Sam Hallam were all on the scoresheet for Steel City Wanderers who ran out 3-0 winners away to Hemsworth MW and the Steels have a tough trip away to Barnsley. Kirklees defeated Bradford Park Avenue to book themselves an away tie at Sheffield Utd Community. Jordane Allison and Sonya Moore each netted braces with the other goals coming from Amy Hesselden and Olivia Dangerfield.
There were plenty of goals at Redditch Utd where it was visitors Silverdale who returned home with a
5-4 victory. The Birmingham County League side will be looking for another Regional League scalp in the next round, where they will face Bedworth Utd.
The other tie which went all the way to penalties on Sunday was at Wandgas, where Haringey Borough won the resulting shootout following a 3-3 draw. Zoe Britton, Joselina Ferreira and Maria Gomes netted during the game for Haringey whose reward is an away tie against MSA Ladies.
New Forest ran out 4-2 winners at Christchurch to book themselves a tie with Chichester City in the next round. Leigh Martin was on target twice for New Forest along with Kelly Edwards and Rachel Dunford. Also through are Maidenhead Utd, who won 2-0 away to Henley Town with goals from Louise Ekins and Chloe Rostron, they must now play Oxford Utd.
Keynsham Town Development narrowly won 2-1 against Exeter City in their tie played at St James' Park. Amy Davies and Imogen Mills scored for Keynsham who will face Falmouth Town in the next round. Stony Stratford Town returned home from Forest of Dean with a 2-1 victory and their opponents will be Bitton.
