Glasgow City narrowed the gap on Scottish Women's Premier League leaders Celtic to three points with a 3-0 win away to Forfar Farmington.
Suzanne Lappin was on target twice and Leanne Ross added the other goal for the reigning Champions.
Spartans climbed into third place, courtesy of a 4-1 success at Inverness. Diana Barry netted a double along with Kristy Scott and Claire Crosbie, Leanne Calder grabbing a consolation for the home side.
Hamilton Academicals leapfrogged Rangers into fifth by beating them 3-1. Susan Fairlie scored twice and Sarah Crilly added the other for the Accies.
Aberdeen claimed their first victory of the season at the fifteenth time of asking, beating FC Kilmarnock 4-2 to climb off the bottom of the table. Claire Martin netted a brace for the Dons with McLellan and Forest joining her on the scoresheet.
