Liverpool completed their successful campaign in the Northern Division with a 2-0 victory against Aston Villa.
The Reds opened the scoring on 21 minutes when Amber Simms crossed for Kelly Jones to head home her 14th league goal of the season.
Early in the second half, Cheryl Foster doubled Liverpool's lead with a superbly taken finish from a Nat through ball, taking the Welsh international striker's tally for the season to 20 and confirming her as the division's top goalscorer.
Foster could have extended her tally in the dying minutes when she sent a penalty wide of the goal but Liverpool were soon able to celebrate the presentation of the trophy following the final whistle, ending a season in which they were beaten only once in the league and, as well as winning the league title, managed to go the whole campaign without receiving a card in any of their matches.
