West Ham Utd's promotion hopes from the Southern Division took a knock on Thursday night as they went down to a 3-0 defeat away to Barnet. Stacey Sowden scored twice and Claire Thomas added the other for the newly crowned Champions who now lead the table by seventeen points. The Premier League has confirmed that the top two teams in the Southern Division will be promoted to the National Division for next season, owing to the fact that the top two teams in the Northern Division - Liverpool and OOH Lincoln - will be founder members of the new Super League. The day before, Keynsham lifted themselves into the second promotion spot on goal difference with a 2-0 victory at Queen's Park Rangers, both goals coming from leading scorer Kayleigh Sage.
