Arsenal are just five points away from retaining the National Division title following their 4-1 victory over Nottingham Forest. Kim Little gave the Gunners a 12th minute lead which Julie Fleeting doubled just after the half hour mark. A third Scottish international, Jennifer Beattie, put Arsenal further ahead early in the second half and Gemma Davison rounded off the scoring late on, before captain Beth Bailey grabbed an injury time consolation for Forest. Arsenal could clinch the title by winning their match against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park next Thursday, if other results go their way.
