Keynsham Town ended the Southern Division title hopes of Portsmouth with a 5-1 victory at the Crown Field on Monday night.
Katarzyna Rusek opened the scoring for Keynsham in third minute and Leanne Lapham added a further two goals before half time, the second from the penalty spot.
Keynsham sewed up the win as Ana Bruni netted twice after half time, taking the Brazilian's league tally for the season into double figures.
The result all but guarantees Barnet the title as only Reading FC Women can now catch their points total. There is now a four-way battle for the runners-up spot, Reading currently having three more points than West Ham Utd, Keynsham and Portsmouth and all four teams have four matches left to play.
