In the Isle of Man, Gymnasium reached their sixth cup semi final in three years, only to fall at the final hurdle again, losing 7-1, this time to a treble-chasing Corinthians.
With the Whites 4-0 up after 35 minutes, the tie was over as a contest and if it wasn't for some brilliant goalkeeping from Suzie Maiden, this match could have easily reached double figures.
It only took two minutes for the Gymnasium defence to be breached, Rachel Quirk capitalising upon some hesitancy within the opposing back four and driving her shot into the bottom left corner. The Whites extended their lead further, Jane Bottomley's diagonal pass found Jade Burden whose first shot was parried but she converted the rebound.
Anna Dillon made it 3-0 after beating the offside trap, Gymnasium meanwhile had to wait until the 35th minute before their first attempt on goal, Toni Beresford having an effort cleared off the line. Corinthians maintained their dominance as Gymnasium maintained their free fall, Sarah O'Reilly's dinked through ball found Sarah Kerford to chip home with Dillon turning provider for their fifth, her weaving run setting up Lauren Christian to fire her slot into the top corner.
After the break, Dillon's corner was only half cleared, falling to the feet of Helen Thomas to score a peach of a goal into the top corner and Burden completed her brace after intercepting a goal kick, returning the ball into the back of the net.
Gymnasium's consolation came when Eleanor Gawne charged down the left, her squared pass found substitute and debutante Jessica Pope to nip home at the near post and score with her first ever touch.

In the other semi final, Douglas Royal ran our 9-1 winners over Castletown. Donna Shimmin opened the scoring for the Whites with Kim Watson levelling matters, Leanne Ashe restoring their lead before half time. The Whites went on the rampage in the second half with Shimmin completing a hat-trick, Bekki Cole and Ceri Purvis adding braces and Vicky Worthington netting following a mix-up.
In Division Two, Laxey completed their league campaign with a 1-0 win over St George's. The only goal came in the second half from a Kerry Lockwood 30-yard effort.
DHSOB clocked up their third win of the season with a 4-2 over Colby. Hannah Leece opened the scoring for Colby with DHSOB equalising from a Steph Hall penalty. Leece restored Colby's lead with Wendy Gurney levelling matters following a counter, Hall then completed her hat-trick via two free kicks.
