Barnet remain eight points clear at the top of the Southern Division following their 1-1 draw with second placed Reading FC Women on Thursday night. Cheryl Williams put the Bees in front from the penalty spot, five minutes into the second half, with Reading hitting back to earn a share of the spoils shortly afterwards via an own goal. Reading have a game in hand on Barnet although they have only four left to play whilst third placed Portsmouth will have been the major benefactors as they now trail Barnet by eleven points but have three games in hand - and the two sides meet on Sunday.
