Glasgow City have taken over as the new leaders of the Scottish Women's Premier League after Leanne Ross netted eight times in their win at Aberdeen.
Donna James, Jane Ross, Rachel Corsie, Megan Sneddon, Suzanne Lappin and Lisa Evans all contributed a goal apiece for the reigning Champions.
Hibernian had started the day in top spot but they were beaten for the first time, 2-1 by Celtic who are in second on goal difference. Celtic took the lead through Stacey Cook and went further ahead through an own goal by Lisa Robertson. Genna Ross pulled one back for Hibs but it proved to be not enough and Celtic went on to take the points.
Spartans also lost their unbeaten record as they went down 4-3 away to Rangers. Cheryl Gallacher bagged a hat-trick for the home side with Lana Clelland adding the other, while Spartans replied through Claire Crosbie, Kristy Scott and Pauline Hamill.
Leanne Calder hit a hat-trick as Inverness kept up their good start to the season with a 5-0 victory over FC Kilmarnock. Lisa McKenzie and Kirsty Deans were also on the scoresheet.
Forfar Farmington claimed their second win in successive weeks when defeating Boroughmuir Thistle 2-1. Rebecca Dempster and Caroline Heron netted their goals with Liz Anderson replying.
Hamilton Academicals claimed their first victory of the season, 3-2 against Dundee Utd SC. Lyndsay Hogg, Ashley McDonald and Susan Fairlie were on target for the Accies, with Fay Hughes and Laura Boag replying.
