Kim Little scored her fifth hat-trick of the season as Arsenal closed the gap on leaders Leeds Carnegie to four points with a 3-1 win at Millwall Lionesses. The Scotland star netted the only goal of the first half for the Gunners in the 19th minute, before Millwall battled back after the break to level the scores through Emma Beckett. However Little went on to take her goal tally to 15 in the league and 37 in all competitions by adding two more to lift Arsenal back into second place, with two games in hand. Chelsea meanwhile put their F.A.Women's Cup semi final disappointment behind them to run out 4-1 winners away to Birmingham City and go fourth in the table. Two goals from Dunia Susi ensured that Chelsea led 2-0 at half time but Dannii Bird replied midway through the second half to reduce the arrears for Birmingham. With four minutes remaining, Drew Spence restored the two-goal lead for Chelsea and Susi wrapped up the win in injury time by completing her hat-trick from the penalty spot.
