![]() For 4 days over Easter, girls are being offered the opportunity to meet new friends, develop their football skills,play matches and most importantly have fun staying fit and healthy. The first day kicked off on Tuesday 6th April with 16 girls in attendance and women's & girls co-ordinator Tina Martin reports: "I am delighted with the response so far for our girls only soccer school and it is great to see girls of different ages and playing abilities enjoying the opportunity to play in a relaxed environment." First team players Faye Baker and Fran Ferrari, both qualified coaches, are leading the sessions and the girls involved so far have been aged between 5-14 years. On Tuesday the players all took part in a mini-World Cup tournament. All players receive certificates and medal for attendance. There are still places available for next week on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th April, both days are running from 10am - 3pm at Northfleet School for Girls.
