England and Scotland have both qualified for this summer's UEFA Under-19 Championships in FYR Macedonia after making it through their qualifying groups this week. England required a point from their last game with Turkey to claim a place in the Finals and they did so with a third successive victory. All of the goals came in the first half, Jordan Nobbs netting twice and Rebecca Jane the other to give England a comprehensive 3-0 victory to complete a successful week. Scotland went into their final match with Finland needing nothing less than a victory, by a bigger margin than group leaders Holland could record against Denmark. Despite the fact that they did not achieve this on the day, the Dutch clinching top spot by beating Denmark 2-1, Scotland ensured that they took the solitary best runners-up position by running out 3-1 winners. Rebecca Dempster rounded off an excellent week for herself by netting two first half goals and, although Sanna Yli-Anttila pulled a goal back for the Finns, an own goal ten minutes from time by Sanna Porali was enough to confirm a place in Macedonia for Shelley Kerr's side.
