England Under-19 continued their good form in Europe with a 3-2 win against group hosts Sweden in Vasteras. After beating the Republic of Ireland on Saturday, Mo Marley's side took another convincing step towards qualifying for this summer's Finals, where they hope to defend the title they won last year in Belarus. They had to come from behind though as Sweden took an early lead only for Toni Duggan to cancel that out in the 17th minute and then put the Three Lions ahead by half time with a goal in the 37th minute. The Swedes found an equaliser after the break and it looked as though a draw was the most likely result, until Demi Stokes popped up with an 82nd minute winner. England will now face Turkey in the final game on Thursday, knowing that a win will be enough to take them through. England: Rebecca Spencer, Lindsey Cunningham, Gilly Flaherty (sub Rebecca Jane 63mins), Shelby Hills, Gemma Bonner (sub Abbie Prosser 45mins), Isobel Christiansen, Jordan Nobbs, Toni Duggan, Jess Holbrook (sub Jemma Rose 89mins), Demi Stokes, Laura Coombs. Subs not used: Lauren Davey, Stephanie Marsh, Naomi Cole, Lauren Bruton.
