Scotland came from behind to win 2-1 against Denmark in the opening match of their UEFA Under-19 Championship qualifying group in Apeldoorn. Scotland were forced into making a change in the fifth minute with Gemma Collier having to be replaced and Denmark went ahead midway through the first half through Pernille Harder. However after the break, Scotland turned the match around to pick up a fine victory. Rebecca Dempster equalised in the 73rd minute and Kim Borthwick scored what proved to be the decisive goal, nine minutes from time. Scotland's next match is on Monday against group hosts Holland, who beat Finland 4-0 in the other game. Scotland: Gemma Clark, Gemma Collier (sub Lesley McMaster 5mins), Lisa Robertson, Eilish McSorley, Rachael Small, Jenna Ross, Lisa Evans, Emily Thomson, Kim Borthwick, Emma Mitchell, Rebecca Dempster. Subs not used: Lee Alexander, Loren Campbell, Nicola Docherty, Stacey McLean, Ellen Pia, Lana Clelland.
