Eniola Aluko admitted that the performance had got better as the game went on. "We knew it would be difficult to break them down," she revealed. "Overall, the second half was better for us." Eni scored England's second goal with a clever flick from Lianne Sanderson's chipped pass and she was delighted with her tenth strike for her country. "I'm very pleased with the finish," she smiled. "Lianne chipped a great ball into the box, I saw the goalkeeper out of the corner of my eye and just touched it past her."
