Wales and Ireland draw blank

The friendly international between Northern Ireland and Wales at The Oval, Belfast finished in a goalless draw.
 
The match was a warm up fixture for both teams and Wales will be the happier of the two sides ahead of their World Cup qualifiers against Belgium and Sweden next month.
 
Wales enjoyed much better of the match but could not find a breakthrough, going closest when hitting the woodwork twice.
 
Wales captain Emma Jones became only the third player to win her 50th cap for her country when leading her side in the match, whilst Swansea City's Alicia Powe made her senior debut.
