Leeds Carnegie showed that their Premier League Cup Final victory over Everton was no fluke as they defeated the Toffees 3-1 on their own ground on Thursday night to move into fourth place in the National Division table. Everton got off to a good start by going ahead when Fara Williams netted a fifth minute penalty, giving them a lead which they held until half time. Leeds levelled the scores seven minutes into the second half through a header from Jade Moore and shortly afterwards Ellen White put them in front for the first time. White then went on to repeat her double strike from the Cup Final by sealing the win with a looping header to give Leeds a victory which underlines their credentials as serious Championship challengers.
