The Swedish team, top seeded in Group Eight, has so far played three and won three in this competition and reached the quarter final stage in last year's European Championships. Wales meanwhile will be looking to build on their last competitive home match, a fine 2-0 victory against the Czech Republic at Llanelli back in September. Prior to this match, Wales will play Northern Ireland in a friendly international on 24th February in Belfast and Belgium in another World Cup qualifying match on 28th March, also away from home.
