Swansea City are the first team to book their place in the semi finals of the FA of Wales Cup after defeating Wrexham 4-0 in their quarter final tie on Sunday. However the Swans were taken into extra time by their Welsh Women's Premier League rivals before a late surge of goals eventually took them through. Wrexham defended stoutly during normal time and Swansea went closest during the later stages when Lindsay Morgan struck the bar with a shot from just inside the area. The deadlock was broken three minutes into extra time as Laura-May Walkley fired home after exchanging passes with Sarah Adams and they doubled their advantage in the second period through Laura Davies. Jodie Passmore put the Swans further ahead and Morgan wrapped up the win with the fourth goal.
