Barnet have gone six points clear at the top of the Southern Division following their 2-0 victory away to Colchester Utd. The first half was goalless but Katie O'Leary gave Barnet the lead midway through the second half and Stacey Sowden wrapped up the points in the dying minutes, giving Barnet their eighth straight win. Rebecca Merritt was the hero for West Ham Utd who lifted themselves up into third place. She bagged a hat-trick as the Hammers won 3-0 away to WFC Fulham to prolong their unbeaten start to the season. Crystal Palace's woes continued at the bottom as they lost for the eighth match in a row, beaten 2-0 at home by Brighton & Hove Albion. Kelly McCullock gave the Seagulls a first half lead and Kim Stenning added the second goal, five minutes ahead of the break. On a day in which none of the four home teams managed a goal, Cardiff City completed a quartet of away wins with a 2-0 success at Queen's Park Rangers. Marie Barrow netted both goals for the South Wales side, who have so far only been beaten once in seven outings.
