A 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion keeps Barnet three points ahead at the top of the Southern Division. Claire Thomas and Katie O'Leary scored the goals to make it six wins out of six for the Bees. Portsmouth hold on to second place, courtesy of a 1-0 win against Colchester Utd. Zoe Nash scored the only goal of the game in the 13th minute, slotting home from a pass by Cassie Thorp. Francesca Kirby and Alison Hogg were on target as third placed Reading FC Women got back to winning ways with a 2-1 success away to WFC Fulham. West Ham Utd kept up their unbeaten record and climbed into fourth after beating Charlton Athletic 3-1. All of the goals were scored in the first half, Zoe Marshall giving the Hammers the lead which was increased by Gemma Shepherd and Holly Griffin, with Emma Tune grabbing a consolation for the Addicks just ahead of half time. Keynsham Town and Queen's Park Rangers battled out an entertaining 3-3 draw which keeps both teams in a mid-table position. Kayleigh Sage (2) and Ana Bruni were on the scoresheet for Keynsham, with Rangers replying through Mel Bidewell, Beth Curtis and Simone Dwyer. Cardiff City claimed their first league victory of the season, 2-0 against Crystal Palace. Ellie Davies put the South Wales side in front midway through the second half and Terri Beddows wrapped up the win, ten minutes from time.
