Millwall Lionesses hang on to top spot in the National Division after they battled out a goalless draw with Birmingham City. In an evenly contested game, the Blues went closest to breaking the deadlock when Jo Potter hit the bar with a 25-yard shot but the point was enough to ensure Millwall stay as leaders, whilst Birmingham have now drawn three of their last four matches. Watford moved level on points with Millwall, replacing Nottingham Forest in second place by beating them 3-1. Forest led at half time through a goal from Reanne Thomas but Watford were back on terms midway through the second half thanks to Holly Miles. Sam Pittuck shot Watford in front with her first goal for the club since joining from West Ham and Lizzie Edwards wrapped up a fine win for Sian Williams' side with the third goal, seven minutes from time. Leeds Carnegie belatedly began their league campaign with a victory, 2-0 against previously unbeaten Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers Belles. Jess Clarke put Leeds ahead shortly before half time and Ellen White completed the win with the second goal, late in the second half. The remaining matches were postponed due to call-ups for the Wales and Under-19 internationals.
