Barnet took over the leadership of the Southern Division on goal difference following a 5-1 victory over WFC Fulham. Claire Thomas put the Bees ahead in the tenth minute from a Danielle Murphy corner and an own goal doubled their advantage before Murphy added a third ahead of half time. Hayley Barton pulled a goal back for Fulham after the break but Barnet went on to seal the points through Gemma Rudman and Stacey Sowden. Portsmouth meanwhile climbed into fifth place with a 2-1 win against Brighton & Hove Albion, ending their South Coast rivals' unbeaten start to the season.
