Reading FC Women replaced Queen's Park Rangers at the top of the Southern Division by beating them 3-1. Elly Maggs gave Rangers the lead in an evenly contested first half but after the break, Kelly Sims levelled matters on the hour with a 25-yard strike. Natasha Caswell put Reading in front following good work from Fran Kirby and Amy Shaw wrapped up the win ten minutes from time by heading in from a corner. "We are delighted with the way we have started the season, taking nine points from twelve," said Reading Director of Football, Lee Herron. "This is a very young side but with real quality and will develop and progress with more game time." Another game, another draw for West Ham Utd! The Hammers have now drawn each of their opening four matches after sharing a goalless scoreline with Colchester Utd, for whom the clean sheet will be welcome following their heavy defeat at QPR on the weekend.
