West Ham Utd drew for the third game in a row when sharing four goals with Cardiff City at Leckwith. Kayleigh Xidhas put the Hammers in front early on with Lisa Bird equalising, Gemma Shepherd then restored West Ham's lead from a free kick before Cardiff hit back to earn themselves a point via a late equaliser from Marie Barrow. Another late goal proved decisive as Portsmouth edged out Charlton Athletic 2-1 for their first league victory of the season. Kirsty McGee gave Pompey a ninth minute lead when she finished off a Justine Lorton cross but Charlton were back level on the half hour through a 25-yard strike from Kristina Manktelow. The game looked to be heading for a draw until injury time when Kirsty Palfreyman tucked home a cross from Leeta Rutherford. WFC Fulham claimed their first win of the season, 1-0 away to Crystal Palace who are still searching their first points.
