A late penalty earned Reading FC Women a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace which sees them take over at the top of the Southern Division. Amy Shaw netted from the spot with ten minutes remaining to earn Reading the points from a game in which they had earlier struck the woodwork twice. Keynsham Town sit in second place after they ran out 4-1 winners away to WFC Fulham. Kayleigh Sage was on target twice, along with Tanja Andjelkovic and Brianna Oeser. Honours were even as West Ham Utd and Queen's Park Rangers battled out a 1-1 draw. Giselle Subryan scored for the Hammers, who have now drawn both opening games, with Rangers replying through Cherelle Albert.
